 Perfect way to escape August 31, 2010

I work nights and sleep during the day. My husband and 9 month old daughter can't very well tip toe through the house while I'm trying to sleep so I bought the CD hoping it would help drown out the noise from them and help lull me into a good day's sleep. I love it! I can't even make it through the first half of the first song before I'm sleeping like a Baby!! It is so nice to come home, light a candle or two and simply lay back and relaxe while the deep rich seductive tones of the chello becon me into dream land. I would recommend this to everyone...and pretty much have since I got it.

This turned out to be a great compilation. I bought it because it was the only recording I could find of the Bruch Canzone and ended up liking the whole disc. The Bruch Canzone was outstanding.

I play this for my son when he is going to sleep and it is enjoyable for both of us. A few of the songs are a little "off" the purely soothing edge, but it's still very nice.

Currently I'm enjoying this cello music while in the car, as it lessens the stress of traffic. It contains a variety of cello pieces that have beauty and grace. As a cellist I appreciate the supurb execution of each piece. This CD is everything I hoped it would be.
