Amazing deshedding tool!September 10, 2010 R. L. Hummel(HOLLY, MICHIGAN, US) I really love the Furminators. I have a foster Chow/Shep mix and a Smooth Coat Sheltie/ Collie mix. This tool does an amazing job of removing all of their dead undercoat. Both dogs have ended up with very shiny sleek coats. Everyone is commenting on how great the Chow mix looks after only a month and no water baths due to his extreme fear of them. I would highly recommend this product!
Excellent, excellent, excellentSeptember 10, 2010 Paws12 First, I was amazed at the amount of fur that was combed out of my dog's coat. We brushed him almost every day and still there was enough fur to make a bird's nest with the FURminator.
Secondly, the price on Amazon was 5 times less than what they wanted in a well known pet store. The pet store wanted nearly $60.00 for the same exact product.
You can't go wrong with this even if they have a new and improved FURminator that just came out. Well worth the money!!
UnbelievableSeptember 9, 2010 Dexter This tool puts all others to shame for cat grooming. It almost seems like it's razoring the hair right off. To prove it wasn't, I tried it on my non-shedding dog - and little to no hair came out. My cat was pretty good letting me comb him, but it becomes a little addictive, so after about 10min he wanted a break from me! Can't say enough about it...should be on Oprah's Favorite Things list...some body send her one!!
furminator hair removerSeptember 9, 2010 Linda T The first time we used the furminator, we were hooked. Even our short haired dog had a plastic bag full of hair removed. It is the best way to remove unwanted hair from dogs and cats. I would recommend this for any cat or dog owner. Our neighbors borrow it ALL the time. For Christmas they are all getting a furminator!
